Balai Polis Padang Besar kena bom?

SELAMAT MENYAMBUT AIDIL ADHA 1434 H

Proudly served miraculous and special guests...

On 3rd August 2013, we have received a phone call by Mak Wan, who noticed us that Pn Hjh Norlina binti Hj Alawi and her 'Anugerah' children would come and have Iftar at Al-Islah hall at Jalan Mata Ayer. We proudly offered the best guesthouse in the list- Mata Ayer Homestay. She brought along her 12 'Anugerah' children and thanks God, the guesthouse seemed to fit her requirement.

She shared with us the plans that she has for the children, for example the release of video clips, books and comic. If you are interested to learn more about her, click here and if you wish to read review of one of her books, click here

Who is Pn Hjh Norlina Alawi? You can make research on your own or click here

We had a very informative and thoughtful conversation with her and get to know her 'Anugerah' children as she introduced to us. It took place after 'solat terawikh' at the spacious Mata Ayer Homestay

Arrived at Teratak Rahmat, Al- Islah, Mata Ayer- Mama's children dress nicely in uniform..

The society emblem- being the landmark of Mata Ayer as the 2nd place after Tok Syeikh house  for promoting 'sunnah' in Perlis

A caring iron lady, attended one of her 'Anugerah' children

Taman Rekreasi Gua Cenderawasih, Kangar

Main entrance to the place

The place is just beside Kangar Mini Putrajaya- where the members of State legislation's office located

It has playground, so you can leave the children here while hiking the hill

Inside the cave- originally, the locals name this place as 'Gua Sami' or 'Buddha priest cave' because they used to practice meditation ritual here.

There is also a Bougainvilla Garden- sadly not well maintained
Pretty big 'puyu' fish, the drains is where the freshwater fishing lovers hook their bounty

The entrance to Bougainvilla Garden, just before the hill foot.

Pink lotus, rare species
The side walk by the giant plant vases

The pretty cute bridge that bring the visitors up to the hill

The signboard that visitors should bear all the time.

These are the steps that you have to climb on, pretty eery, isn't it?

Rest hut by the limestone rock- where you can take a rest after a tiresome climbing

Steps and the steps holder, carved in log theme.

You can see Seri Malaysia Hotel, Kangar in vivid vision

The east side of the hill, you can view and compare Bukit Chuping (Ear hill), Mata Ayer, Arau and Kangar Town (in the radius of only 10 KM)

After the hard day work, the hole of light appears on your head
At last, you will reach at the peak of the hill with a feeling of relief

Here is what the steps look at the peak of the hill

Beautiful and feel like in the fairy 'Jack and the beanstalk' tale

There is Kuala Perlis at the horizon

The original limestone at the peak- beautifully carved by the erosion and heat

The amazing view, Malacca Straits and Langkawi Island at the horizon

Another rest hut on the way climbing down the hill

Its verandah is facing towards the greenery view of paddy field

Beautiful view of paddy field at Kangar town- dunno until when it can stand without being developed

The concrete plate- marked the official launching by the former MB, Dato' Seri Shahidan Kassim

You can also view and interact with 'lotong' or white spot eyes monkeys- they will come to you for the food you bring along- be careful..

Taman Budaya or Culture Centre is also situated here

Dewan Wawasan 2020 is just beside the Recreational Place, the hill at the background was where we climbed just now
